I recently bought my 1st AR, an Tac Entry. A friend of mine bought a slightly used RR from a gun shop and sold me the upper because he wanted something different.

How can I tell if this is a RR upper, or something someone put on the RR lower? I couldn't find any markings on it.

Thanks,
Craig

Look above in this section to the RRA barrel code list.  You can determine at least if its an RRA barrel.  The upper body itself?  Steve would have to answer that.

If you don't need an accu-wedge to take up play between the upper and lower....it's a Rock River.

It would depend on how long ago (before or after we started engraving the uppers) the upper was built.  Barrel codes would help ID the barrel, and if the RRA logo is engraved directly over the charging handle, it left as a complete rifle or upper half.
If you can get the serial number of the lower from your friend, I can let you know how it left the factory.
