Hi,

I am looking at purchasing a RR mid-length within the next month or so.  I have a few questions:

1. If I select a few "upgrades" to the rifle, for example quad-rail handguards, are the standard handguards still included with the rifle?  I notice some of the options cost almost as much to order on the rifle as it would to purchase them separately.

2. Again supposing I purchase upgrades, I am guessing that these are installed prior to shipping to my FFL?  I am not sure I want a local dealer monkeying with it so I would be relieved if this is the case. :)

3. Do the answers to #1 and #2 change if I order through another retailer rather than directly thru the RRA web site?

4. Does the "Detachable Tactical Carry Handle" rear sight include dual, flip-up apertures or a single aperture?

Thanks!

Thanks for asking.
Sub/Upgrade pricing is for replacement components assembled on the rifle/upper/lower at the factory.  The parts being replaced are not included with the assembly.  In some cases, additional assembly time/work/components are required beyond what is "normal" which can cause therpicing issue that you pointed out.
Any of our dealers can order for you, with whatever subs/upgrades you request.
The detachable Tactical Carry handle has a standard dual aperture rear sight.
