So, like, ahhhh.... I've already asked you too many questions but I have one more:

If I order a mid length with a YHM flip up gas block (without bayonet lug) will the barrel be drilled/slotted for drift pins?

Not normally.
Under normal circumsatnces we'll use a barrel that has never been drilled for a FSB. If it comes back in to have a flip sight or gas block installed after the barrel has already had a FSB installed, then yes, it would have the slots.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that would be the case. I want to get a middy from you and then mod it shortly after... and I did not want the barrel drilled for the standard FSB as I want to use some sort of set screw gas block in the future.
