Although I haven't given it much thought, is it even worth it to take the handguards off of a NM A2 to clean under them. I would assume that with the free float tube, that there isn't much to clean. Am I correct?

Hi John_C_Garand_Match

Right, nothing under there to look at, just the float tube.  How's it shooting for you?  Mine shoots itty bitty groups time after time.  Its my favorite rifle.  Lately I've been playing with a 16" midlength with a NM float tube and its really starting to honk too.  Love those RRA's!

Cheers,

Phil

I can make bullet holes meet at 50 yards with a good amount of the shots, always good to hear that others are enjoying the same luxuries of an RRA

ETA: Not that good at 100, but thats the shooter , will have a chance to do prone 200 soon, which I normally do pretty good at.
