Clean it out good before you shoot it but keep it well lubed. There is no need to break in the Elite. Just go out and fire away. |
I am new to the AR scene and have found this site vary useful, but was wondering if there is anything I should look out for or do before sending some lead down range? I pulled it apart in the shop and inspected everything and it seemed to be well lubricated. Also I have had some say that it needs to be cleaned after each round for the first ten rounds. Is this true for break in or just over kill? I was planning on putting like 60 through it then doing an extensive cleaning. Any advice will be helpful.
