Steve,

Last week I received my RockRiver AR15 back from your service department on RMA 2865.  Today (Sunday, June 11, 2006) I attempted to re-sight my gun.

The gun returned is much worse than what I sent in.

My orignal gun wouldn't chamber many different types of ammunition and your service department said they "re-barreled" my gun.  This is still the problem plus it won't chamber even what was it's favorite brand.  None of the 7 markings I placed on the gun in different places are present on the gun that was returned.

Before I return and get another RMA, could you help me with the direct phone number to your service department and the manager???

First very sorry to hear of your troubles.

I'm not tracking with you either onthe "7 markings", but that's really immaterial.
The number to call is (309)792-5780.  The techs don't normally get on the line, but I'm sure we can get one of them on for you.
DeAnn is the Sales Manager, who also oversees RMA processing.

I agree.......it's disappointing that I'm having so much trouble with a gun with RRA reputation.  

Hopefully DeAnn can help sort this out and get me the quality of gun I purchased.

The Markings.........My Dad told me to place small marks on different parts of the gun so that I could tell what was replaced when I got the gun back.  It appears that the entire upper was replaced.

Hi Steve,

Not that you can do anything about this......but thought you should know.

I called and talked to DeAnn this morning (RMA Customer Service). (8am PDT)

Told her about the problems.......she said she would talk to the tech that worked on my gun and call me right back.

It's 2:07pm PDT and I still haven't heard from her.

Steve,

There is a response for you in IM.

A RRA tech called me this morning and now understands that I'm having chambering problems and promised to make things right.

He was very good to work with and also issued a UPS call tag.

I think we're on the right track.

That sucks that you're having problems with your AR, however, if its any consolation, when RRA finishes making it right, you'll be thrilled with it.  I know I am with mine.
