What lube does RRA use? I mean what lube is on the new rifles when they are shipped? I would like to get some. And Steve, Tell all those people who are working O.T. on the production floor during the nice weather that we appreciate it. Many of us do the same. Thanks Angelo B. Joliet, IL. |

I find it at every gunshop and most hardware stores. You don't want to have to mail order it 'cause the haz-mat fee is about as much as the CLP. G96 is an aerosol can, and Break Free is available the same way, or in pump bottles, and in smal bottles that you camn use to lube a patch or rag. Steve/RRA |

I spent the weekend at a factory-rep event at Belleville Indoor Range and Gun Shop in Belleville, IL this weekend (great place if you're in/visiting the St. Louis area) and they were all about the G96 as well. They likened the smell to sugar cookies. I don't know if I would go that far...but it smells a lot better than any other CLP I've come into contact with. Steve/RRA |
