What the hell do you all use to keep the castle nuts in place super space glue? I cant get that damn thing to budge no matter how hard I try. That is just rediculous man and cruel.

You have a rock river?

Send it in .... You'll ruin the nut trying to turn it. Or get some cotton rags, wrap the rags round the castle nut and drizzle nail pollish remover over the rags till it dripps. Flip and repeat. wait twenty min and make shure the rag wrap stays soaked the ENTIRE time. Then unwrap and try to unscrew it. My results were 50% I had to ship one back, and I got one loose. Good luck.

use thin strips of rags, and be careful. paint finnishes can be damaged.

Actually, yes they do. RRA holds the patent on super space glue. You can also have them upgrade to super duper ultra space glue at no extra charge.

If your castle nut is anything like my national match float tube, it is held in place by RED loctite.  Yes, RED.  The only thing I could do to remove it was use a propane torch and heat the tube until it melted the loctite.  Once I got it apart I then burned the remaining loctite off with said torch.  The use of fire would probably not be advisable on an exposed area like yours so I don't know what to tell you.  Do you have a collapsable stock wrench or an armorer's wrench?  Gotta use the right tool for the right job.  MJD

Nothing space-aged...Loc-Tite and, on several LE orders< satking as well.  Heat is the best answer, whether from a heat gun or torch.
If you are tentative about using the heat, that's okay.  Call (309-792-5780)in for a return authorization and we can get it off for you.
