Recieved my 9mm AR the other day, nice looking gun that has a feel of quality to it.  I do have one question and a problem though.  Question- the flats on the flash hidder are not quite at the 3/9 position, is it OK to tighten it a little more.  I'm not talking about vise grips either as I have a buddy wiith the correct tool.  Next the problem- the bolt hold open will not work, I know it won't with Uzi mags thats not it.  Even pushing in the bottom of the bolt release catch will not do it as soon as pressure is taken of off the lever the bolt releases forward.  Any quick fix/ideas.
                                           Thanks in advance Simon.

Not off the top of my head.
They're designed to work with the standard 223 bolt catch, and while they can be a little more sensitive, I've never encountered one doing what you've indicated yours is doing.
If the mag is riding too high, that would cause/contribute to it, I suppose.
Couple of option:  Call (309-792-5780)in for a return authorization and let our techs figure it...or, see if any of our friends here can offer a solution that you can try at home, leaving the RMA as a later option.  I'm always willing to learn from someone else who has a different/better solution than I might have.
Thanks.

I'm going to return it on monday, I will include the mag that came with it just incase it is riding high.  I doubt it though as the bolt will not hold back with/without mag inserted.  Put about 400 rds through her today, shoots sweet glad I got it regardless.  Any way no worries I'm sure RRA stands behind their product so I'm not concerned in the least.  Please tighten the f/hidder for me though, it bugs me being off even a few degrees.  Thanks Steve!...

Don't forget to get the RMA first...when product comes in without one, there is often an extended delay in taking care of it and getting it back out.
