My Friend and I just ordered one each from Pete in N. H. with the U.S Property on  them . My question is there a break in for the barrel or any other part  on this rifle to get the best accuracy. And is this a custom rifle , is that why it takes a long time to get ? I don't mind I've ordered one from a local gun store and waited 4 months , then was told RRA wont ship to Ma. That was over a year ago , Now finally I'm gonna get one. Hope its worth the wait.

I just bought a RRA NM A2 a month ago (sort of a Christmas present to myself).  According to the man I talked to on the phone at Rock River, there is no special barrel break in procedure. Just clean it as normal and shoot it.
I love mine. The fit and finish is great. You'll be very pleased with it.

What ammo is best for this rife ? I mean for accuracy at say 200 yards or better . I'm new to this and while I'm waiting for my rife to be made I like to buy something good . A local gun shop has some British ss109 for sale is that good or junk any suggestions for a new NM A2? Should be getting it soon  thanks

If you want performace on par with what the rifle can produce you could try Federal Gold Medal with 69 gr. Seirra HPs.  I have heard many good reports about Blackhills as well.  This type of ammo is pricey, witch is why I make my own.  If you decide to shoot High Power matches you may consider reloading.  It is quite amazing to see what these production rifles can do.

Where abouts in MA do you shoot?
