Hi. A month ago I purchased a NM trigger (your two-stage model) from my local dealer, and went to install it in a lower. I've put together lowers before, and have a general understanding on how they work. However, this trigger baffles me. Once installed (and I did this several times to make sure I wasn't putting somethin in backwards), I flipped the safety to FIRE, and cocked the hammer. However, after cocking the hammer, I pulled the trigger, and for some reason the hammer is stuck. It will not fall forward at all. I can't tell anything it is catching on. What do I need to do? Thank you, Trey |

The best way is to disassemble the trigger group entirely, and follow the instructions step-by-step, word-by-word from the installation instructions and troubleshooting card that came with the trigger kit. Each step has you perform certain checks on it as you go. If each step functions properly, it will (should) when complete. If you have a problem at one step of the assembly, that's where the trouble is occurring. Your trigger kit was fit and function tested for weight and operation into a test lower before it left our facility, so it shouldn't be too problematical. If you go through it, and still have a problem, our techs can help, either over the phone if possible, or by having yu get a return authorization and having you send us your lower half for us to trouble shoot it for you. Thanks. Steve/RRA |

Steve, Thanks for the reply. Last night I gave it one more shot, following the directions closely, and now have a nice RRA NM trigger installed in my lower. It passes all of the safety checks (hammer drop, disconnector, etc.). Too bad it was too late to test fire it at the range. I guess that will wait until next weekend. Thanks again. Trey |
