We'll ship anywhere in the lower 48 states for just $10.50. Choose from UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or Priority Mail. Fill your order up with as many items as you need-it's still just $10.50! These rates do not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, where packages can only be shipped Parcel Post Air or UPS 2nd Day Air.
So... Why is ground shipping $13.99 when I try to check out, when you advertise shipping is $10.50? |

Thank you for making us aware of the information on this page. As has already been noted, the listed price for shipping has been updated to reflect the current rate. Thanks again! ![]() We apologize for any confusion, but this page had not been updated for far too long. The rate of $13.95 has been our rate for a while now. Again, we're sorry for any confusion. |

I would like to know why Brownell's charges $13.95 to ship UPS ground a AAC Breakout, when it can fit in a $5.15 small Priority Mail box.
Is there a reason? Are you guys making up profits on the backend? There is no reason that something as small as a muzzle break has to go slow UPS Ground when it can go the faster and cheaper route of USPS Priority Mail. |
| I agree. I would tend to order more things from Brownell's, but I typically end up buying elsewhere due to shipping costs, even with my "LEO/FFL" discount. As it is, I only order from Brownell's as a last resort. Great customer service would be to revisit their shipping policy and charge rates more in line with realistic shipping costs for what was ordered, rather than a blanket fee, where the small order shipping charges end up subsidizing the large order shipping costs. |

I would like to know why it costs $13 to ship a BCG ground when it will fit in a small priority mail box for $5.15.
Is Brownell's taking a cue from Midway and making money on the back end with inflated shipping costs? If I can mail the same thing vis USPS for $5.15, why cannot Brownell's? SKD Tactical can. |

Their shipping options need to improve.
When I posted the thread I was asking why the difference in actual vs advertised rates, the reply was an, "Oh yeah, we forgot to change that." Great reply. I would like to give them more business, but with that type of CS, I'm more often going to be shopping elsewhere, and only get things from them that only they carry. Shame. |

They used to be more flexible on shipping options, but they are now using the "Midway Model" in shipping. There is no reason for something like a BCG, which easily fits in a small priority flat rate box for $5.15, to be shipped in a UPS ground box for $13. You cannot tell me that a place like Brownell's does not get better rates that I can get. |

I am telling you there is always one floating around, it is not once in awhile. But, believe what you want. Never seen one. But again you are missing the point. Their everyday shipping rates are inflated. I can ship the same thing cheaper than they say they can. |
| I was going to order their Brownell's brand mags the other day but that shipping cost made buying Troy mags from somewhere else cheaper. A lot of things can fit in a Priority Mail Box so i don't understand why they don't use them. I live in WI so I don't think paying almost $14 for shipping is necessary. |
