I bought a PA micro dot - just got it in. MD-RBGII

the first 3 levels of brightness are very, very dim. 1-2 I cant even see in the dark. 3 - barely in the dark - have to strain. 4 - a little better and can kind of see in the day.

is this normal? battery issue?

Don't sweat it.  I need to check my older model and see if it has NV settings.

NV was new with the MD-ADS and MD RBG II. If you have an MD06, it will not have NV.

Ended up having to send it back any way.

Screws on bottom were mangled out of the box. Frustrating. First PA item ive gotten that wasn't up to par though.

Looks like a monkey threaded them. When i went to tighten the base, the screws just rolled around. never came close to being tight. One just fell out on the floor.

ETA - poorly threaded steel screws into what looks like an aluminum body. It was an absolute mess under there. Glad this wasnt my first PA product. I'd have a pretty poor impresion if it was.
