After around 5000 rounds, 25 shooting competitions, and 3 years of being on my beater rifle, my micro dot finally gave up the ghost. Think I went through only 3 batteries, changed once a year though they never actually died. Won't keep a zero after a couple shots anymore, but it had a good life. I may have called it too soon. While cleaning my rifle I noticed that my ff rail had shifted out of alignment with the upper....my mount sits right where the upper and rail meet, so the micro may be fine and my rail is the problem. It doesn't feel loose but it's definitely out of alignment. I'm going to mess with it this next week, hopefully that's the issue. If not, I may take you up on that offer!
