Primary Arms does deserve the excellent rep it has on this site. I was looking for an entry-level scope, but not a piece of junk. Guys on the site referred me to PA and the 3X Compact Scope, and I heard about an upcoming 6X scope with an advanced reticle. Contacted PA and Marshall told me the 6X would probably be a little late so I decided to go with the 3X. It took just a couple days until I received it and I think it is a quality product, especially for the price. The machining is excellent, the illumination is impressive and I think the optics quality is very good. The scope is made in China and I normally wouldn't put the words quality and China in the same sentence, but in this case I am very happy.
