I got my 3XLER magnifier today and had an issue with the PA FTS mount. The 6 screws for the ring would screw in at very different levels...one would bottom-out without providing tension, while another would achieve max tension without nearly as much tightening...and others were in between. I tried it a few times rearranging the screws and the top half of the ring, and was eventually able to get the magnifier secured enough, but the screws are still very uneven. Anyone else run into this issue?

The threads should go all the way through the bottom part of the mount so they don't ever bottom out. Unless the top cap is machined uneven not sure how this would happen. The screws heads could be different sizes???

Without the magnifier and top cap will the screws go all the way into the mount?

Here it is without the top cap and magnifier...the one sticking out is as far as I could get with reasonable torque.

Here is it assembled...this time they all tightened down, but that middle one still not as far.

The magnifier seems secure enough, so I don't think it will be a problem...will use some Loctite for good measure.

The one sticking out looks like it got cross threaded. If you can't get it back on track and go in straight, shoot me a email so I can get it swapped out.
