how does the 3x compact do in the 5 - 25 yard range?
I am really torn between this and an aimpoint pro. The rifle is used for HD / general range fun / SHTF. My only concern is up close and short shots. I do like the idea of 3x for 50 yard and 100 yard shots though. ahhhh this is so annoying. |

Much faster on target at close range and well it is a Aimpoint. |
| I now have a primary arms 3x scope to go along with my Burris ar332 and besides a little difference in glass, reticle and the mount on the outside of the scope they seem to be from almost the same factory. The Burris scope glass is definetly higher quality and that u can see right away. But all in all I highly recommend the primary arms 3x scope just as much as the Burris. |

Since you have both .... and could buy either, money not a concern what would you buy? Burris or pa +adm mount? |
| I really like Burris optics they are excellent quality scopes for the money plus they really give military and law enforcement a pretty good deal on one optic a year. The glass on the Burris to me just seems a little bit better than the primary arms but your also talking about $100-150 more for the Burris scope. When I look through both of the scopes right next to each other the Burris glass just seems to be brighter. Both carry a one year warranty. It's really what kind of budget you are on. |

The glass is higher quality in the Burris but not significantly so IMO. Both have ADM mounts that are excellent. Only differences I see, other than the optics quality are the reticles and the Burris has illuminated red and green reticles with the PA having red only. Had I known about PA before buying the Burris, I would have gone with PA. |
