Will the Gen 2 Micro Dots attach to a Larue mount for the Aimpoint Micro?

The "normal" AR LaRue will be too tall; the LT660HK version will give you absolute cowitness.

I'm not a fan of absolute co-witness.  If I go this route, I'll go QD with the high mount.

My understanding is that none of the LaRue mounts offer lower 1/3 with the Micro.  There's another Micro thread here that has info on various risers and the co-witness they produce - look at the multipage Micro threads.

In my experience with several Aimpoint micros and clones, the tall LaRue mount that gives a lower 1/3 cowitness and the Daniel Defense tall micro mounts do not work as you would hope with the Primary Arms micro red dots because the Primary Arms micro red dot sight is constructed with the LED emitting diode at the 6'oclock position and it gets in the way of your lower 1/3 cowitness on an AR platform.

The real deal Aimpoint Micro has the LED emitter located around the 4-5 o'clock position which leaves the lower 1/3 field of view clear for iron sight cowitness when used in the aforementioned LaRue or DD mounts.

That being said, I like the Primary Arms micro and I use it on my Saiga 5.45 AK style conversion on a KVAR KV-04s side rail mount.
