Any word on the Micro? I see complete guns listed and lowers but all out of stock. Lots of cool slides. Any change to run a real RMR one in the future? I like my RMR's. As soon as available I will place an order.

Any word on when MC1 Comp'd Micro slides with Holosun 407k will be in stock?

I just got a Dagger compact and ordered a Vortex Defender ccw for it. What mounting plate do I need to fit the optic? I got the RMR PISTOL with threaded barrel.

How long of Dagger Compact slide can be reasonably accommodated? G34 length?
My first Dagger will be complete Friday/Saturday pending UPS and I’d be curious about maybe an alternative target style slide setup @PalmettoStateArmory |

First time out with my new dagger and I was having some feeding issues... when I inserted a full mag and hit the release to chamber a round, it would not chamber and kept getting hung up. I did eventually get it to load and it shot fine after that, but it also wouldn't lock back after the last round with either p mags or glock mags. I attached a pic of what kept happening, has anyone else had this issue? It was happening with 115 gr blazer aluminum cased and CCI brass cased 115 gr. Maybe I just need to polish the feed ramp so it feeds easier?

But I think the extra strong mag catch spring was a fix of sorts. It's a lot stronger than it needs to be. I can release the mags on my Daggers without shifting my grip, but it does slow you down a bit. That's probably my only gripe with the Daggers. |

View Quote I think that "too long of a feed ramp", "dropping mags" issues was on the PSA H&R 9mm PCC carbines, not on the Daggers. But because it was PSA and 9mm, somehow that story got crossed over to the Daggers. That's my recollection, since I'm watching both of those stories. and once it crossed over, there's no undoing that now. |

A fellow on one of the Reddit groups noticed the size of the slide release has changed considerably. I had to check my recently purchased FDE frame and compare to my black frame that I ordered two weeks after they became available and sure enough, shrinkage!

I have been following the Dagger for a couple years. As far as I know PSA never made an official announcement as to what was causing the issue, I had read it was out of spec barrels. I know nothing about the H&R PCC 9mms. |

$49.99 PSA Dagger Compact Complete Polymer Frame, Black
$12.30 15 round PMAG $199.99 Doctor cut slide assy with threaded barrel, extreme carry cuts, Ameriglo suppressor height sights, sniper green $126.62 Sightmark Mini-Shot M-Spec Reflex Sight I ended up snagging 3x PMAGs and opted for shipping protection on both PSA orders. Right now I'm into this setup $457.93 delivered (not including FFL transfer fees) for a pistol with optic/night sights & 3 mags. As I understand it, the Mini-Shot may not fit in the doctor cut on the dagger slide. Sounds like the PSA doctor cut matches some of the vortex sights and the footprint of the Mini-Shot will extend rearward with some interference. I may need to remove some material from the Mini-Shot or the slide, not sure which will be easier or more responsible. We will see. This is my entry into the optic/pistol world and value is everything. Heck, my wife even opted to pick up the tab on this build for me. Thank you PSA for blazing this trail for us. |

View Quote Following up on my own post here. Have had the doctor cut Dagger slide and Sightmark Mini-Shot for about a week now, finally got to measuring them and eyeing them up. Looks like the Mini-Shot has 0.3mm of interference with the rear of the doctor cut. I believe this is due to the rounded profile on the rear of PSA’s doctor cut. The footprint of the Mini-Shot has a flat rear surface. It’s not actually much interference, and the center of the rounded profile on the doctor cut actually clears. Now I have a dilemma, do I shave a fraction of a millimeter from the slide or the optic? Looking at how the aluminum housing is machined for the optic I’m leaning that direction. |
|
|
Ended up taking a file and removing the 0.3mm from the corners of the Sightmark Mini-Shot to fit the Doctor cut on my slide.
Not much material at all, the rear of the sight used to have a flat profile: Attached File Installed: Attached File |

Here is my experience with this issue. I did not see this thread after I bought my Blem FDE Compact frame. The mag release was really stiff. I read other threads that said NDZ mag release helped. Ordered one for about $14 shipped, but was still too stiff. I read to replace the spring. I ordered a Glock OEM spring from Big Tex Ordnance for $.99, $3.98 with shipping. Problem was fixed. Nice thing about the NDZ release is it has serrations. |

Does anyone one else have a Dagger that doesn't like to lock back on an empty magazine? I have 2 15 round Pmags that lock the slide back 100% of the time in my G19, but it only locks back on occasion in my Dagger.
edit: tracked the issue down to the slide stop lever, not exactly sure what the issue is/was, but I took the one from my 19 and put it in the dagger, and put the one from the dagger in my 19 and now the dagger locks back 100% of the time, and so does the 19. |

Herrington Arms just released a magwell for the Dagger compact. I just ordered one. I have one of the polymer magwells that was released a while ago that I didn't like. It really pinched the bottom of my hand. This one looks like it extends the bottom of the frame and doesn't go over top of it. I also ordered one of their comps to replace the one I have on my Dagger. The current comp will go on another threaded 9mm I have.
