I'm looking at this upper:
http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-pa10-18-mid-length-nitride-308-win-1-10-upper-with-bcg-and-charging-handle-516445313.html Three Questions: 1. Is the flash hider really pinned and welded or is that a typo? I cannot see why an 18" would need to be pinned and welded. 2. Is the midlength handguard on this upper the same at the midlength handguard on the AR-15? I am asking because I would like to use a drop in railed handguard on the PA-10 and wondered if I could use an AR-15 drop in. 3. Is the nitriding inside the bore as well? Thanks |

Definitely a typo 2. Not sure, the 308 barrel nut assembly is larger diameter 3. Nitride is always done to the entire barrel inside and out from every manufacturer |
| I've seen a 16" nitride w/ fsb PA-10 gen 1 upper personally. It looked like it sported a standard middy plastic handguard. However, if you were to use a drop in quadrail/keymod/mlok, you would need to make sure you have the correct rail height, which is detected from the rear tang height. |
