PSA states that their buffer tubes are "mil-spec diameter".

Is the diameter the ONLY thing that their tube is "mil-spec"

OR.... are their ENTIRE tube.... "mil-spec"?   Material, number of holes, ID for the buffer, etc

The tubes have 6 alignment positions instead of 5.  All other dimensions are Mil-spec as is the material.  The diameter is featured as it makes a difference for stock size.

While we reserve the right to upgrade kits, the freedom kit comes with a standard, non-logo, car buffer.  The buffer may be anodized either in Mil-spec style gold or Grey.  It is now on sale.

The other kit comes with a black anodized logo'd buffer.

So the tube that is included in the $24 Freedom kit is now the same 7075/internally dry lubed tube as in the $29 Premium kit? Previously the Freedom kit was 6061 and non lubed.

You should mention that the tubes are 7075 if they are.

Saying mil-spec diameter only usually means made of 6061

I have seen that description only related to the stock you need, never about the material.....
