Thank you for your inquiry. The bolt in this kit is is made of Mil-spec shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel. The 8620 steel, full-auto profile, bolt carrier is phosphate treated outside, and chrome lined inside. Is there a Specific psa part number for this particular bcg? Is it a ptac? Freedom? Etc. Actually most of their bcgs that I see are either with logo or without as far as their descriptions go rather than "ptac, premium, etc." They will often also say full auto, c158, mpi, etc. |

My experience is the bolts are all over the place. Last upper I got was phosphate when I ordered melonite finish. I returned it and still was sent a phosphate. |
