Timney hammer impacts bolt catch. This is the PSA bolt catch. The hammer makes contact with the upper installed too. Pretty sure it impacts the bolt catch before the firing pin.
Probably an easy fix by shaving a little material off the front of the lower portion of the hammer, but this lower is getting irritating. I would prefer to file the back of the bolt catch and leave my trigger unaltered, but I don't want to risk the catch not engaging the BCG. I previously tried an Armalite bolt catch. It worked fine with the trigger group and BCG, but would not depress the magazine follower. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss286/nfa1934/141fb87827dd1c48207eff961fe39538_zps6aa59d51.jpg Edit: Easy fix. Just shaved a little off the lower portion of the front of the hammer. Still, I dislike taking a rotary tool to gun parts in order to make them function. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss286/nfa1934/62a8dd1680db620c21ec1446ec41c941_zpsacc4b9d9.jpg |
