They are PSA premium BCG/CH, not the PTAC or Freedom ones.

Charging handle is absolutely normal - it looks like you're putting sideways pressure on it though - focus on pulling STRAIGHT back even if you're only grabbing one side.

The gas key is probably just fine. How many rounds through it? and as long as your gas tube is centered and there's no interference between the carrier key and tube you're good.

About 300 rounds so far.
I bought 2 sets of BCG/CH from PSA, and only the last pair I bought is showing these kind of wear, or discoloration or whatever it is.

I don't care about the cosmetic problems of internal parts, but whether these wear would cause any kind of problem in the future.

The BCG is my main concern, since it starting showing sign of what I believe to be unusual wear even at such low round count.

the carrier and everything look fine - the gas key may have just had issues taking the finish.

Worst comes to worst, it's a $12 part you can easily replace at home if you want to avoid sending it to PSA.

Looks GTG.  Make sure all is lubed well and continue shooting.

good to go.

on standard charging handles you are supposed to charge the old way,
one finger on each side. if you only charge from one side you need to
upgrade to a bravo, or other charging handle designed for that. it's all
fun and games until your charging handle breaks and punch yourself in
the mouth

LOL at punch yourself in the mouth comment...   Never had a charging handle cause this, but I did knock myself out last fall raking leaves.  Wooden handle busted at the worst time ever, and I clubbed myself across the temple.
