I know this has been beaten to death, but I can't find a lot of information on the upcoming 308 on their AR platform.
1.Does anyone know this will be DPMS or will they go for their own unique setup like Rock River did? 2.If they are going for a DPMS pattern, will they be able to sell uppers only as well? I hope so, because I just finished an LR-308 that will be looking for a mate soon Thanks |

If I had to guess, PSA will offer individual parts as they do with their AR-15 stuff. As far as if it's DPMS pattern or not, that would be a question for someone else. I'm not sure. Kind of hope it is DPMS pattern though since that would be nice for parts compatibility with other existing AR-10 stuff out there. |

Where did you hear that? Quoted:

I have heard that it is also DPMS, as that is the standard that now the majority of the market has accepted. I have heard late June/early July for a release, along with the 1911. That is pure speculation though. Where did you hear that? which part? The DPMS? Well, they did post pics of the .308 using PMags. Also, the pics from SHOT look DPMS pattern to me. As for the release date, they have said on the forum sometime in the summer. When I frequent PSA I ask, and the answer I have gotten most is June/July for both. This from employees who don't "know for sure". |
