Just got Liberty “Moultrie” and the prefix is HP. It is high shelf and has no tension screw.
ETA I think I’m wrong about the high shelf. |
|
|
New complete lower recieved. Has WW prefix for the serial number. Cosmetically not nearly as nice as my HP prefixed lower.
ETA- I should add that the HP is a premium lower while the WW is their bottom dollar. Both assembled with zero issues. |

|
Bought 2 of the HP prefix lowers yesterday at the Clemson Road store.
Who makes the HP lowers? |

I have updated the main post tonight. I've changed all image hosting on it to FlickR, so please let me know if you cannot see any of the images, or if they are out of order or not right.
I've added a few of the lowers that i recalled that were missing. I know there are most likley others missing. Lowers added were : PA10 Etched PA-45 PSA Poop Flinging Gremlin PSA Space Force and possibly others. Please pm me or post here any changes, or additions/inaccuracies. We are still looking for that beautiful Anodized Green Upper/lower set they had for photos, so i would love some pics of those. Also, I've after talking with Josiah, asked his input on this thread as well to ensure that we have the most accurate data as possible. Thanks for bearing with me, im much slower now with being sick with the cancer, but i will try to continue to be on top of edits as much as possible. thanks guys. |

Updated - by adding the anodized green lower photos. Damn lower is hard to photo well, so its hard to get good pics of it. the pics dont do the color justice. its beautiful in person.

I was at the Mt Pleasant store last week picking up a new P30 and my dad bought a stripped lower for his $299 complete rifle kit and it was a WW prefix. The serial number is above the selector. I'll post a picture if you're interested.

It has the unrefined radius previously associated with DC Machine, the tensioner screw hole previously associated with FN, and the West Columbia location previously associated with P-TAC. Kind of interesting, the threads for the receiver extension don't go past the buffer retainer hole. The PSA logo seems a little smaller than the ones I've seen before (I like this one more). https://i.imgur.com/HA52qrU.jpg https://i.imgur.com/WEJmjHb.jpg https://i.imgur.com/xADmjNp.jpg View Quote |

"PA" serial prefix is Aero Precision? That's settled fact? I mean, it could be, but I'm curious as to the source of that information. I just don't know why Aero Precision wouldn't completely thread the receiver extension hole like they do their other lower receivers.
Looking closely at the photos on pages 1 and 2, this one looks exactly like a non-stealthy Stealth lower receiver. Physically, everything looks the same except for the West Columbia part, the addition of a tension screw hole, and the logo (of course). I don't know who machined it, but it sure looks like the same program for the Stealth lower receiver. In the end, it doesn't matter, really, but we like to obsess over small details here on arfcom. |

View Quote The tension screw hole is new, and the logo to me is too light these days, so hopefully the new plant thats machining these will machine the psa logo a bit deeper soon. i dont mind the size of it as much as how lightly it is machined. i have 5 of them here that could use being engraved deeper.. much like my space rider, its machining of the logo is too light in my opinion. i agree with your sentiment about it not really mattering and us liking to obsess over small details.. its part of the fun. |

The west columbia label is due to the fact that they have moved their main business warehouse to west columbia, off of old dunbar road in fact. @GamecockOperator
Just a heads up, The pic you have for the RH side of the BETSY-15 lower is incorrect. The flag is shown "IN MOTION" on the PSA website. I take the credit for that. They originally had it how you do until I pointed it out. My only GOOD contribution to that thread. CD70 |

@Drlove thank you for posting that AP. I believe that is from their second running of AP lowers, hence the 7000 serial number. Still a very nice lower, i especially love how deep and well done the engraving is on that roll mark and serial number. All the AP's were done that nicely.
I updated the lowers thread 01-02-2020 with the release of the Israel Tribute lower receiver. |
