I placed a order two weeks ago for an item I was told  was in stock.  Then a few days ago I am told it is no longer in stock, but for the last  several days the item is showing in stock still.  I had someone call to inquire about the same items and he was told it was in stock.  What the heck is going on with this place?  You billed me for the item.  I have been trying to email with no replies and my questions I send  via IM keep getting a response asking if I want the remainder of my order.  I have asked several times for a suitable substitute or a particular part instead.  These get no replies, only the same canned answers.  What is going on?

Your post is exactly why I posted my own - we've had major problems out of PSA overselling stock.

My experience exactly.  See my post in the "where is my order" thread.   Except they didn't ask me if I want the rest of the order.   Only told me they can't cancel only the out of stock items.  Must wait or cancel everything which means I give up items I purchased on sale, and that have since gone out of stock.  Meanwhile I have wasted 2 weeks, and passed on ordering from other vendors.

I was finally able to speak with someone on the phone.  He stated that they expected the part in on time, but now they have no idea when it will arrive.  I asked why it still shows as in stock and he said he did not know.\, but he shows it as out of stock.  I am tired of dealing with this minor issue and just had them ship what was in stock and refund the rest of the order to my card.  That should take 3-5 business days.  We will see if this changes my view of the company.

This is their typical practice, it's all a crap shoot.

Maybe I'll get my blem lower, maybe I won't.

I would love it PSA removed out of stock items from the site view.

Frustrating when searching for stuff and 9/10 products are out of stock.

I just wanted to follow up on my experience. (Overall I am very satisfied with the order)

I had issues with the lack of communications.  I got some IM's and no responses on the where is my order thread.  I called and was told that they were out of stock on the item and if I wanted the rest of the order to ship.  I stated that I would like a substitute item, but did not get any reply.  I was asked again if I wanted my order shipped without the item missing.  I called and it was explained that they could not substitute items on existing order.  That explained a lot for me.  I decided to have the order shipped with the exception of the missing item.  A few days passed and nothing.  The other day I got an email stating that the item was misplaced during the warehouse move and the order was to ship.  Three days later it was on my door steps.

Things I have gathered.

1.  Ordering during the warehouse move not have been the smartest thing to do.  They were very busy and I am sure it was a madhouse there.
2.  Better communications regarding what was happening would have been nice.
3.  Be patient, they will make things right.
4.  When they say it will ship, it is usually fast.
5.  Prices are very good!

Overall I am pretty happy with my order.  It was correct and of high quality.  I need to learn a bit more patients with online companies and not expect instant communications during busy times.  I will continue to use PSA for future orders, but if I need something right away I will look locally or with another company.  I can also expect to pay more for that convenience.

The last thing I want to ask PSA is can you PLEASE not staple a copy of my invoice on the outside of the box with all my PERSONAL INFORMATION on it?  I am sure those who are handling my package found it rather interesting.  I know my mailman was asking me all sorts of questions about guns and inquiring about how many I had or if I built them.  THANKS...
