I received and upper receiver today from Palmetto that instead of having the normal star shaped hole for the gas tube it had a hole drilled through into the upper that is 7/16" round, Completely anodized so it was made that way. Anyone seen upper purposely made that way for anything?
And as usual the order was incorrect as the holiday sale stripped uppers were advertised as not having feed ramp cuts which is what I need and I was sent uppers with the cuts. |

pics or it didn't happen? IM me your email address and I will send you a pic. I have never signed up for photo posting anywhere after reading the terms. After some searching I think it was going to be one of these and changed its mind part way there. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/upper-parts/upper-receivers/innovative-arms-warfighter-adjustable-receiver.html |

Check out this past thread
Straight from PSA We accidentally received uppers designed for piston driven platforms, and some of them were shipped out before we realized it. It sounds like you received one. Please PM me with your online order number so that we can take care of this for you first thing next week. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Oh. My. God. |
|
So let me get this straight.
PSA's employees on the assembly line are putting AR barreled uppers together everyday and then a batch of uppers come through that look nothing like the previous hundreds that they've been handling for days, weeks or months and not a single person in QC sees anything wrong or different? So not even a single person says,"uh, this hole thingy where I'm putting this pipe thingy looks different boss". This has WTF all over it.

I remember the thread where they admitted the problem. You'd think that someone would walk out on the line, gather up the wrong barrels and put them out of reach of the production monkeys. Management fail. Armorers that can't tell one barrel from another. Production fail. Order not checked out the door? SOP for the QA/QC people. Quality fail.
Thread probably going to be ignored for a week like the gift card thread and others? Customer service fail. I wonder how much longer ARFCOM is going to let these clowns advertise here. |
| Man, I have bought a bunch of stuff from PSA. I have never had a problem with their stuff, or my orders. That said, These guys are starting to scare the crap out of me. It seems that they mess up more stuff than they get right, screw people on their 10% restock, if you don't like their business, and many other things. I think Dan had it nailed. They are starting to be the new Botach. And we see how shit works for them these days. This kind of crap is making me real nervous about placing orders with them. PSA, get your shit together, or people are going to start voting with their wallets. L2 |

Somebody please bypass the marketing guy and bring all this stuff to the owner's/principals' attention. No entrepreneur/business owner should be letting this stuff happen! Any SME CEO or COO would have been fired already... Look at their website. They have carefully insulated owners/management from customer feedback. No names, no contact info, no org chart. I don't think the owners want to be bothered with inconsequential things like customers. |

How about lock this thread it has gotten way off from my original post about the upper. Would like to get some answers in my post about returns. What's funny to me is that PSA only acknowledges the guy talking about their management, and NOT the actual problem. |

I don't know how he got one of those as I was under the impression they had all been isolated and removed from an area where our pullers could access them. |

The thread about keyholing in their 5.45 barrels is completely ignored. |

Have you not had an influx of problems in the last few months?
Have you not been locking threads and editing posts at an alarming rate in the last few months?
Have you not been ignoring this thread? http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_301/224562_1_10_Twist_Rate_on_PSA_5_45x39_16_barrels_____Better_for_mil_surplus_7N6_.html
By all means correct me where I'm wrong. |
