I just wanted to mention that I have noticed a big improvement in shipping times. Both last night and last week my order shipped out within 24hrs. Thanks PSA! I hope the great customer service continues, |

OP, Thanks for the words of encouragement.
We have made a lot of changes to the shipping dept. in the last few months to improve speed and efficiency, some of which resulted in some unfortunate teething issues (errors, etc.). The end result should be much faster shipping for pre-packaged items, and we are starting to see the benefits of the changes. As a percentage of orders, the error rate has always been very low, however any error for the individual customer who's order is wrong is effectively 100%, so if you have an issue please let us know with an email to CS or IM here and we will correct the issue asap. Uppers average 15 business days to ship. Lowers are dependent upon FFL information being correct, which is often the hold up. Please keep that in mind when ordering. |
| They build the uppers to order. This is not fast food. What is so hard to understand about 15 business days? Maybe PSA can draw a picture of a calendar. ie. if you order on this date it will ship this date in red or another obvious highlighted date. I doubt it would help because some people keep running out of fingers and forget to start counting toes. |

I don't see how anyone can complain about their upper's shipping time. It plainly states 15 business days and some of them specify 20 business days. At least they are upfront about it and don't tell you what you want to hear. Because some people receive theirs before others. I am on business day 23 myself, for an upper that was not a holiday special, and yet another holiday special order I placed arrived already, despite it being the latter purchase. It is just plain bizarre. |

Here's my most recent experience with PSA; ordered some ammo(1k rounds) on Mon(10/8) at 5pm, got a shipping notification on Tues morning(10/9) and ammo will be here Thurs(10/11) |

Will see how it goes and see if I plan to do more business with them. |

I don't have a problem being patient, just wish you guys would wait to charge cards until you ship. That's pretty standard industry practice. No it's not for a custom built order. If they build it, then charge your credit card only to find that it's declined, they are stuck with a custom peice with wasted valuable time. Then they have to call the customer, try to sort out why it was declined or another payment method, link it to the order, then ship it out. Seems like a whole lot of headache and wasted time to me. Now for items on backorder which are off the shelf items where if your card is declined, all they have to do is put it back on the shelf, no harm no foul. That's a whole different story. Also i prefer they charge my card right away, i don't like using checks and pay all my bills online for a similar reason, i don't like charges dangling out there in the wind. Maybe because i'm too lazy to continually balance my checkbook, but my system works for me as long as things are charged right away. Quoted:

Compare it to all the other custom build shops out there with the election coming up. Many are reporting 10+ weeks. Daniel defense is the only company i know of attempting to churn them out next day for builds with in stock parts. They charge a premium, they do make high quality products, but they probably hire more man power or something to accomplish this. More man power would probably make PSA's prices go up a little, i'll wait 3-4 weeks and pay less money. |

| The only problem I've had with PSA shipping are missing items when the package shows up. I seriously think the problem here is the brown paper they wrap everything in. There is no way for someone to look in the box to double check everything is complete before it goes out because when you look in the box you just see a pile of brown paper. |
