What is the down low on these?  Good for a .22 build?

i have plenty of regular PSA lowers so it's not really needed.  I was thinking of a lightweight build for my 9-yr old.  And she prefers the rifle in all black, none of that pink stuff :)

These are the lowers used in ATI's 22 caliber AR.

I looked and checked it out with FFL and he said he thought they could be considered illegal in VA due to state law against plastic guns.   If you bought it as part of a "complete" built gun it shouldn't be a problem, but as a stripped lower it might be.

Of course, Palmetto probably knows cause it's their butt on the line too in this case since its illegal to ship no matter if its to an FFL or not,  lets hope they can enlighten us!

They were $50 on sale.

Glad they sold out.  Stopped me from getting one and also buying a CMMG 22 upper.  it would've made it too heavy. Better to just get a dedicated 22 polymer rifle for her.
