| What are the differences in the the M16 bolt carrier group and the PSA 5.56 bolt carrier group? |
|
Quoted:
technically they have one BCG style NoW.... full auto (m-16), MPHP bolt, staked, chrome lined, etc... just like it says on their site. realistically, they have two... one is laser etched with PSA logo on the carrier, the other is not. Where on the site does it say that. In the description of the barreled uppers and the M16 bolt it does not say the bolts are HP tested. |

We can plea again for PSA to answer... pretty sure some of their other posts state the processes used... some are not even marked....
this is the copy to the BCG regarding the bolt...you are correct HP is omitted in the text, but 'could' milspec cover it? PSA?? Made in USA. Bolt is made of Mil-spec Carpenter 158® steel and magnetic particle inspected. Gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec. Bolt carrier is parkerized outside and chrome lined inside. |
