after a 4 week wait for a 20 inch and 6 week wait for a 14.7 uppers. which were both pinned so i dont want to hear about all the extra steps that make the 14.7's take longer. then the 20 would have been 6 weeks also. the bolt carrier is a low end you dont sell  and the front sight is canted to the left by quite a bit, but with all those checks that can not happen. here is the e-mail that was sent 5-14
Comment: hello i had order 2 upper back in march on order #100014513. the 14.7 arrived on 5/2 and i got out to the range with them this weekend to find the front sight is canted too the left. had my rear sight almost maxed out and still not zeroed at 25 yds. went home and tore down both the 20 inch and 14.7 to find the bolt carrier in the 20 is not parkerized outside or chrome lined inside and ther is no "MP" makings on the bolt. both of these upper's were ordered the same except for barrel length. the bolt and carrier is fine in the 14.7. 20 inch front sight is fine, 14.7 shoot nice groups while using my aimpoint. both of these uppers and another rifle are all using the same buis. i did swap them to make sure it was not a rear sight . i would like to get these sent back and corrected and how long would the turn around time be. thanks, john. reply recived on 5-17 Mr. ******,I will get you a return label to send your upper back along with the problematic bolt carrier group. Thank you. ******* *****Customer Service Manager 5-30 and still no return label to be fair, fit and finish is great, pinned brakes were done very clean, and the run fine and do shoot very well. groups are nice. i just want what i paid for and a front sight that is at least near center, both of my bushy's are dead center. this should far better than it is. please pm me with what to do or a e-mail that will get this taken care of. it is hard for me to find the time to call due to work during the day. thanks, john. |
