This is my 5th PSA lower and the first time I've noticed any issue. When I was installing the trigger, noticed the shelf cutout is uneven...doesn't seem to interfere or affect trigger function, any other reason I should be concerned?

That offset is intentional. Some manufacturers do not machine that shelf all the way forward, opting to leave a vertical "ridge" between the main fire control compartment and the rear take down pin area, so the offset is not so easily noticeable.
