Hey Guys at PSA, I know things are hectic right now, but I just ordered a lower and would like to pick it up locally instead of having it shipped.
Is this possible? Thanks |

Quoted: Do you have to be a SC resident to pick up a stripped lower at your store? Even if you list it as a rifle build? I have a business trip planned to the area after the first of the year and I was hoping to drop by and pick up another lower. I can answer that. No I tried that once when I stopped by. |

Pretty sure a rifle can be bought by a person in a neighboring state where its legal in both states. Not clear about just a "lower". I know I've bought rifles in Ga. ETA: at a dealer (Wal Mart) |

A stripped lower is held to the same standard as a pistol concerning transfers to residents of other states, it must be "processed" thru a ffl in the buyers home state. Now PSA can, and is willing to add a buffer tube and castle nut to the stripped lower, this allows it to be sold as a rifle (which per the Feds does not need to go thru a ffl in your home state), be aware, they do charge additional for this service, contact them for specifics tho. |
