| I ordered a PSA lower parts kit with my lower over the Labor Day sale weekend. My lower arrived with my lower parts kit at my FFL on Friday and I picked it all up today. While putting my lower together, I realized it didn't come with a trigger guard or the necessary pins for the trigger guard. Do you guys normally include these in your lower parts kits? If so, how do I go about getting a trigger guard and pins from you guys? Thanks. |

Just an update for anyone who's curious.
I received my trigger guard and roll pin in the mail yesterday. Thanks PSA! You came through like you promised. I just want to say, I have been a casual customer of PSA for a while now, albeit mostly small parts. I was a little stand-offish regarding their lowers and assembled uppers, mostly because they were new to the game in that regard. I've been watching the development of their 20" FN barreled uppers and the price has been calling my name, but I just couldn't convince myself to take that leap not knowing the quality I was going to receive. I had placed an order for an Aimpoint PRO on 31 Aug and it was taking a while for the in-stock optic to ship. Not knowing what kind of shipping nightmare I might be walking into, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a lower and lower parts kit over the Labor Day weekend, given the outstanding price. My order for the lower and lower parts kit was placed on 4 Sep. I finally received my PRO on 8 Sep and my lower and lower parts kit arrived at my FFL on 26 Sep. I've been reading tons of reviews and have decided to take a chance on the upper and build a PSA M16A4 clone. That order was placed on Fri, 30 Sep. They created my UPS shipping label on Mon, 3 Oct and the upper left their facility on 6 Oct. The speed with which they got the missing parts from my lower parts kit and the upper out the door to me tells me that they're trying really hard as a company. The lower sale absolutely killed them, but hopefully it was as worth it to them as it was to me. My lower showed up with an excellent fit and finish, unlike some I've seen posted online. I'm hoping they hit a home run out of the box with the upper so I don't have to deal with the shipping wait again, but even if they didn't, they've convinced me they'll do what it takes to make it right for me. I'm an impatient guy, to a fault sometimes. I hate buying things mail order because I like to have something in my hands when I give up my hard earned money. Order processing, shipping delays, and lack of communication frustrate me immensly. It shouldn't, but it does for some reason. I'm not going to say there weren't a few roadblocks along the way with these past few orders, but every single hiccup was fixed with absolutely no hassle on my part. For that, I'm grateful. |

Quoted: I have one of these kits coming too and am interested. In FAL building we were always advised to alter the cheapest part (don't go hacking on the receiver to make shit fit-file on the shit) would seem to apply here.I just got my MOE LPK from them today. The magpul grip is TIGHT on the lower, is this normal? or should I shave a little of the plastic away for a slip-on fit? |
| I would agree, that would make the most economical sense... it fits, but i feel like im trying too hard. I just didn't know if this was the normal for the magpul grips. I don't plan on exchange the grips on this gun often, so maybe I just break a sweat this once and leave it alone. |
