With all the PSA complaints lately I thought I'd share my most recent PSA experience.

I recently received an order that was missing a crucial item (they forgot to include the MOE LPK).  I contacted them to get it fixed instead of complaining on here.  It took a little while to get through to them but I figured it was due to the recent order volume.  Even with taking their high volume in consideration, I was starting to feel like I would avoid PSA in the future due to the delay in being contacted.  To make the story short, I finally got a call back and PSA more than made up for their mistake.  I will order from them again.

I do have a few tips if you need to contact PSA about an order problem.  The first is don't IM them on AR15.  That didn't work for me.  If you try calling them and no one answers, send them an email explaining the problem and leave your phone number.  They will call you back.  Sending an email provided me with the quickest resolution.

I ordered a complete 20" FN upper. Of course this was right after the Labor Day sale. I was expecting 2-4 weeks before even thinking about see a shipping notice. Well, a week and a day later its in my hands. Now its on a lower and begging to be taken to the range. Work gets in the way of fun.
I had a great experience from PSA.

I assume this thread is in response to my thread, why should we not be allowed to post issues we have, is this a biased forum where only good things about PSA can be said?

+1 for PSA, 6 lowers later they are GTG in my book.

I've had mixed results with PSA.  Communication is by far horrible.  I've never received any return calls to messages left on their machine.  Shipping notices have been hit and miss.  An order I received today had an issue but was taken care of quickly by customer service.  I have a case of ammo on the way and will continue to buy from PSA but I realize order information is limited.  They do have great products at competitve prices.

I feel the same way. I've never had an issue and I shop regularly at their store in Columbia. As far as the communication issue goes, PSA has hired more people to field the calls/emails. Their armourer's are as busy as a one-legged man trying to put out a grass fire building uppers and their shipping department is just as busy boxing them up and shipping them out.

PSA absolutely will make right any legitimate warranty and/or missing item issues. I have personally witnessed them take care of even bogus claims without any qualms. Things like breaking off an ear trying to install the trigger guard roll pin in a new lower or making a deep scratch in the side while trying to install the bolt catch.

It may sometimes be difficult to get ahold of them but they will eventually make it right. Bitching about it here before giving them a chance to fix it is not the right way to go about achieving resolution.

While I love their LPK kit deals, recently the slow shipping times has really turned me off. It took them nearly a week to get my order out the door Affter they had charge.

Another arfcommer buddy of mine is going on day 7 with nothing shipped, and this is agree he emailed them asking whats up.

When he and I both ordered our stuff earlier in the year, it was sent out the following day.

Not yours in particular.  Lately there has seem to be a lot of PSA dislike threads going on in here and in GD.  I just wanted a thread to show that they do follow up on their mistakes and make things right (for me at least).

Been a week and im still waiting on a LPK from PSA . Ordered another RRA NM parts kit from Joeboboutfitters 5 days after PSA and i got it today.

The only way i will shop PSA anymore is maybe $49 lowers. Thats about it.

Every site i shop from Except PSA sends emails right away letting me know whats up and sends tracking numbers. I get nothing from PSA.

Telling people to email customer support is one thing. But you need to actually respond for that to work. The same goes for phone, IM, pony, whatever.

You should receive your invoice within minutes of placing your order.  You should then receive tracking information from UPS Quantumview once your order ships.  Some e-mail addresses (such as Yahoo) block or filter these tracking e-mails from UPS.  We would be glad to assist you with tracking information if this does occur.

Email is the surest way to get a response when volume is high.   Over 200 messages responded to today.

Have had excellent service with my orders of ammo so far and expect that this will continue.  Looking forward to visiting Columbia next weeka and picking up a few things in the store!  Despite the occasional issue I read here on the boards, this industry supplier seems to keep the pricing low and service on products to what I expect.  Thanks!

I'm glad to hear. But that's little comfort to those who have not got a response, including me on two separate occasions in the past.

I really do hope that you guys can get your communications issues worked out though. It's the primary thing I see that's making you a mediocre company instead of a great company. And it's the only thing that gives me pause from doing further business with you.

I think they have a bit of growing pains since the inventory since the last time I had ordered is phenomenal.

I ordered an MOE LPK and the next day, the price dropped $5. I sent an email and asked if I could be credited the difference, since it was by one day (worth a shot right?). No word back. So I used the email form on their website, no word back. So I called, no answer. So then, I left a message on their order status sticky thread that I had just emailed and IMed them. I got my response back that I had been credited.

Now, was I happy about it taking that long? No, but they made it right and I appreciate it. I will order from them again in the future to test the waters again and at this point, I wouldn’t discourage anyone from ordering there. Running a business is tough, especially when your volume of orders quickly rises and falls.

So, at this point, PSA is good to go in my book.

Just under two weeks to get 1/2 dozen lowers and LPKs.  About 1 1/2 weeks for my 20" upper. Communication was just fine. I've only called them twice and they answered both times. They called me and my FFL dealer about the lowers. Sent tracking number. No complaints. Can't believe people complain about 7 day wait.

20" upper is awesome BTW. Put about 400 rounds of 3 different kinds ammo including Wolf with no malfunctions so far. Shoots like a dream. Kicks my Colts ass. Sight adjustment ended up dead center when zeroed.

I was a skeptic when PSA came on the scene but unless my experience drastically changes with them I will give them much more business in the future.

I got my PSA mock dissy upper today about 9 days after placing my order. Five minutes or so after I placed the.order I got an invoice emailed to me. The next day I.got.the UPS tracking info. Great shipping/communication on my order and I will order from them again.

On a side not the fit and finish of the upper is excellent. No wobble or rattle of any kind and it fits on my RRA lower like it was a matched receiver set. Thumbs up all around for my purchase.

I really like doing business with them.  Communication skills take time as does expedited shipping...im sure in time this will all be a thing of the past for PSA...in the meantime I will take the longer wait times in exchange for unbeatable prices on a great product

(besides if the Zombies come tomorrow I'm still a few hands short from holding my existing supply of firearms)

Yep, me too.  My bolt seems a little too tight though and that has me a touch worried but I am gonna run it and see what happens.

I ordered that 20" FN upper before I knew about that sale and was pleasantly surprised when the price was like $50 cheaper.  Got it after about a week, still need a few parts to complete the build but when it is

My bolt was tight also- tried it - it's toast - sent it back to PSA - we'll see what they do about it.

I emailed them and they told me to ship it back , so I did on my own dime

Not to hijack the thread but could the two posters above me post some details about the tight bolts? The one that came with my upper is tight too. Should this be something I should worry about? It's not something that screamed out DANGER to me, but still caught my attention. I haven't had a chance to fire it yet.

Thanks in advance, and sorry again for the hijack.

I had to tap the bolt into the carrier it was that tight even with tons of lube. After 60 rounds the bolt locked up in the carrier and when I got it apart the ring was bent and broke. Installed new set and checked after 30 rounds one ring was pulled and missing some of it, still was hard to install into carrier.
