What is the status of your range? Any updates?
Opening soon? Price? Restrictions? . |

they are opening a range? is it supposed to be near the shop?
I hope they do some kind of membership pricing... I'm getting sick of driving to Indian Creek in Newberry everytime i want to go shoot, but i dont like paying the per-visit charges of the other ranges near Columbia. |

I like shooting up @ Indian Creek but the drive from the Camden area is killing my budget. There is a range opening up in Elgin also. As they get more set up I'll have to get some info. . |

We had the range company at the building on Wednesday. We are changing the plans from 10 lanes to 18 lanes. The range should be functional by Christmas, but we can't guarnantee it.
The location for the range and new store is not at our current building. We are buying a new facility. It will have a brand new store and range on about 6 acres. I can't disclose the location yet, hopefully soon. The store should be ready around October. Thanks, Jamin |

Individual bays for rifle. The range will accomodate up to a .308 on Full Auto.

Awesomeness. I hate driving to Indian Creek, and paying the crazy expensive membership at Mid Carolina kind of turns me off to the place. Are you guys going to have individual bays for rifle so you can do some tactical stuff or no? |

Are you guys going to have individual bays for rifle so you can do some tactical stuff or no? I've been a member of MCRC for about 10 years now. When I joined they charged a hundred bucks a year. Now they charge $150. One time a couple of years ago I let my membership lapse and they charged me an additional $25 to renew it.
I used to shoot at Indian Creek when my son was attending Newberry College. It's an hours drive but it's a free range. Looking forward to shooting at a range closer to Columbia. |

I'm a student, I paid fifty. Now its 150 plus a membership to a shooting organization. That and they're kind of out of hand with some of their rules. I've seen people kicked off the range because one round went low and hit the ground a foot in front the berm and they said it could skip over the 30FT berm and hit houses behind it. |

On my first trip there as a guest a couple years ago we had the same problem; .45 ACP it the ground and left a mark; we were "asked" to leave..... I made up my mind at that point never to give them any of my $$$. Not wanting to hijack this let's get back on course..... Can't wait for the new range. . . |
