IAR 11.5 Uppers available (Page 3 of 11)

I got their email the other day, that they had them in stock also, and I went to it almost immediately, ready to pounce. Of stock by the time the page loaded. I went back and looked and it was 4 minutes from me receiving the email , to opening that page to add it to my card. I don't really need one of these, but it's a cool piece of kit, would make a nice wall hanger someday. When my Ray gun in the 40 megawatt range is my EDC. |

I got my upper receiver a few days ago. My handguard has a navy blue tint to it. Obviously not as blue as aeyoungs. Attached File Attached File Here is a photo of my three IAR upper receivers. The biggest difference between Fightlight and a IAR Full size,,you can easily repair and run the IAR system same as a M4 and no belts or extra cans plus easily utilize multiple different mags as well as share your buddies mag in a heavy fight to suppress if you are out also not having to worry about rounds cooking off due to the IAR's awesome heat sump design. |

For my purpose a belt fed anything is worthless without full auto which I will never have. The IAR in any barrel length is a great option for sustained fire compatibility but I cannot see any situation I would need more than the 11.5", 14.5 max which I would buy in a heartbeat without hesitation. My recent range experience was excellent with the 11.5, it's a real asset in a CQB scenario. |
| Anyone have a fix on buffer setup to slow this thing down a bit? H2 and standard spring with a NT4 on the end shoots like a mac11, we'll over 1000 rpm and anything more than a short burst is hard to keep on target past 100 with a bipod... |
| I ordered one of these IAR uppers from Charlie's Custom Clones three months ago. I have received nothing, and they do not respond to email, the chat on their website and they don't answer the phone. I'm patient, but the complete lack of communication is making me feel like I've been scammed. Does anyone know a secret handshake or backdoor way to get in touch with someone there? |

Never try to do business with Charlie's. They have scammed people in many areas of the firearm hobby. Do a chargeback through your card issuer and be done with them. |

I did finally get an email reply yesterday. Here's what it said: "Hi Bret, I've checked your order and it is still in backorder. We will notify you as soon as we have an update. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have further questions." In other words, the person replying didn't actually check on anything but just sent out a generic email. I already have the conditional credit on my credit card account. |

Attached File I really want the 16" but I figured it was better to at least get the 11" in the meantime. I need to build a couple more AR SBR lowers, this is my only rifle one.  This thing definitely makes my 416 upper seem lightweight and handy in comparison. Chonky! ETA - But it's very solidly built and handles extremely well given the weight. Definitely front-heavy but it doesn't feel like a dumb ban-era HBAR upper. The heat sink evokes a sci-fi energy weapon appearance a bit.The upper is absolutely immaculate. None of the tinting or blems that I've heard of/seen in previous batches. Though after living with Bushmaster purple, Colt blue would have been fine! Attached File Dug some accessories out. I'm sure the HK stock and Colt upper together create some sort of violation of time and space. |
