Anybody have any original paperwork for the 6521? Anything from colt saying what it was made for and the date?
I found a couple mentions of them in a few books but I would like something saying that from colt or similar. |

If this is a carbine marked "Colt Carbine" with a sear block, large front pivot pin and raised mag well, no bayonet
lug?, I have owned one of these in the past. You may know this but they were ordered by a foreign government whose laws would not permit a rifle marked "AR-15" to be imported. Spec wise it was a government model carbine. Mine was in a blue label Colt box with all paperwork for a government carbine inside, including manual. The box had a handwritten white sticker with "r6521"where Colt would place a machine generated white sticker marking the r-series of the rifle. They were rare and desirable for collectors. I seem to recall paying over $2000 for mine. I seem to recall they were made circa 1989-1990-1991. |

And yes I know people here are going to bash that this is just passing information along. Mine also had the blue label being hand written the model and serial on the box and a 6520 packaging for the accessories I bought a pre ban letter from colt for $25 and that's all they can give on these. Hope this helps some people out. |
