Now that CZ owns Colt, get ready to see a move to breathe new life into the company and a turn back to commercial sales. CZ is no stranger to the market and knows Colts brand power. I expect good things to come as long as we still have a firearms industry. I am patiently waiting for CZG to wipe out management to install market savvy people as well as a top-notch R&D and engineering department. I’m looking forward to an all-new 9mm striker-fired pony pistol |

They could have looked at the books and decided that Colt’s base pretty much doesn’t care about blems/mismarks, and is fine with like two variants of the same ‘ol 6920 that are just: run out of parts for the standard ones, buy a bunch of Magpul and call it a Magpul edition, run out of that and call it an OEM. They need to produce and market it though. If CZG can get the production cost down on the CM762, in a different State, so it retails for 1499 they would sell them as fast as they could produce them. I paid 1299 for my 716i. |
