Does anyone know any of the current wait times for Colt products?
I ordered the new Colt Competition CRL-20 in mid-November through a local FFL. His distributor doesn't know when one will come in, and I'm beginning to get anxious. Just wondering if anyone knows anything more than what I am hearing. I appreciate any information that you can give me. Thank you. |

I order a 1911 around 4 months ago and I was 220 in line on back order, I called last week to see how many they received so far and they said none. If you want one I would look at gunbrokers.com you will pay around 150-250 more for it but that is the only way I see getting it if you want it. Good Luck

Might be time to move on with my life and get something else. I agree with shooting for gunbroker.com at this point. Ordering new products from anyone right now seems pointless unless you want to wait a year. |

I sent an email to Colt Competition today. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a customer service email that you could contact, then i was pleasantly surprised when they responded within an hour or so. They aren't producing CRL-20s until this summer, July-September. Not necessarily happy about the wait, but happy with the customer service. I've decided to stay on the waiting list.
FYI, this is another company that is leaving their current state, Oregon, to Texas due to proposed anti-2A legislation. Good luck to them. |
