Damn it. I asked the dealer if this was something new or not and they told me it was. They refused to let me take it down before purchase and I didn't notice the pin sizes until I got home. Damn it. Personally, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. You have a great wwapon at a good price. Shoot it and be happy. |

Damn it. they are liars The material misrepresentation that they provided me with was fradulent and thus voids our contract of sale. |

Quoted: True, but it's 50 more than what you paid for your rifle. Fine, I'll make it $900 You realize we have sales tax in Texas, right? This rifle cost $869.28 out the door. Also, in San Antonio the Walmarts do not sell AR-15s because the Mexicans run them to Mexico or so they say. The only redeeming factor of this purchase is that it brings back memories of Colt catalogs from the mid-late 1980s. The product registration card has a copyright date of 1998 and the two 20 round mags are marked 11-01. Maybe this is a Clinton-Ban gun? |

I feel for you though, I was down in El Paso a lot lately, different world. Anyway, take it back and get what you want, I think since 2009 all of them came with smaller pin's. |

Why are these on GB for $1700? Because people are retarded. As for your purchase, why does it matter if it's new? It's still the same great Colt quality. Also I will say that your gun looks to be in great condition.. If I saw that exact gun at shop for $800 or less, I would buy it in a heart beat! |

Had they been up front, I would have likely still bought it because of the price, but I don't like being lied to. |

I think you done good there for 8 bills. What's bothering you? Is it that you were expecting new production or the pin size? It looks like a new rifle. I too would have bought that in heartbeat if it makes you feel any better. ETA: Missed your last by a couple minutes, I don't think they knew they were lying to you. I don't know who said it but there's a quote..."never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity." |

January 2003 http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg141/dab969/photo-82.jpg That was a long time ago. Two wives ago for me. By the way, Gene Stoner must have been drunk when he designed the slip ring. Ever worked with one of the old, straight sided ones? |
