I just discovered the CR-Pro .308. Looks very interesting. I wondered why Colt would use billet receivers when they had forged receivers available. Then I noticed the CR-Pro receivers sure look like DPMS receivers.
Anybody actually seen one, thoughts?

I could be wrong but I just assumed Colt would use the 901 series receivers to build different rifles.

That's a Colt branded rifle, not a real Colt built rifle like the 901. It's actually built by a company in Canby, OR as I recall.
