| I'm the guy who posted about having my colt ar upper and lower locked up.I sent the rifle to colt and they received it on the 20th.How long does it usually take colt to respond to let me know that they are working on my rifle.Don't want to borass them, how long should I wait till I start calling them for info? |
| If its been a week since they received it and they have failed to contact you, you should call them. Being "a pretty busy company" doesn't give them license to provide slow customer service. If their people are too busy to even look at your rifle within a week, then they need to hire more people. |

They could just transfer people from the fit/finish section of QC since they seem to be redundant. |
| There was another guy who had a pretty serious Kaboom with his colt that posted here. I think it took Colt a few weeks to even look at the gun. They resolved the situation much to the satisfaction of the customer, as I recall, but it did take a few weeks, so I would be patient, |

If it's been over a week I would say call them. Nothing pisses me off more than crickets from a company when you have a problem. It doesn't take much time to send an e-mail letting you know they have received your rifle and will be looking at it ASAP. Even if they don't give a specific date you at least know they got it that way.
I tend to not deal with companies that can't even extend such a simple courtesy. |
