What low profile gas block would I need for a 6933. I am on the larue sight and there are two choices 0.75"  0.625"  Is the 6933 barrel profile 650?

Thanks

.625, though simply having the standard FSB turned down is a better option.

So shave down the front site? I was always afraid of doing this incase I wanted to set the rifile up in original setup. I would hate for my grandkids to be told it would have been worth this if only he did not do this.

If you haven't burned out the barrel by then you need to shoot more.

DON'T REMOVE THE GAS BLOCK . THAT'S ONE ONE OF COLT'S GREAT QUALITIES , ATTACHED WITH TAPER PINS. CUT IT DOWN.

You could buy a barrel assembly from BCM of similar profile if you wanted to store the original for later installment. Not the lowest cost or Colt purist option, but an option none the less.

Daniel Defense cold hammer forged 11.5" lightweight barrel with low profile gas block

That's almost identical to the 6933 barrel. Just buy one of those instead of permanently altering your Colt barrel.
