| Thought I would say hi to all you guys since I keep looking through this topic again and again while waiting for my 6945. Some fine looking hardware on these pages, it pacifies me, I think I have another month wait on mine. To you guys running suppressors, do you have any cycling issues with the 10.3" barrel, did you have to change anything? |

I just purchased a socom mini that I am probably going to start running instead of the sdn6 |
| That's good to hear. Only a month in on waiting for a SpecWar 5.56 that I planned on using on wife's dissy. Thought I would try it on the 6945 and see how it would run. I saw it when it came in and I did the paperwork, did not have the Roger super stock. Probably would have changed though, still looking, maybe the MOE SL or UBR 2.0 for a little different look. |
giving this thread a bump. I submitted my form 1 in January to turn my 6940 into a 6946. I plan on shipping my upper to SA to do all the work... here's the twist, I'm putting an adjustable gas block on it. When I first got my 6940, it was my first AR. I had no clue what I was doing and removed and sold the original gas block/front sight. I want to go back to the OEM block, but I haven't had any luck finding one. I'm planing to get a POF adjustable gas block. I'm gonna try to remove the "dictator" and POF marking off the block. POF doesn't sell them without the markings

Picked up my 6945 today. Took 11 months with a trust post 41p. Here she is with my 6933.

6933 on top and 6945 below. Surefire mini’s on both.
ETA - took the 6945 to the range today. 
ETA2 - Just for reference it’s running the stock spring and a Spikes T2 buffer. It was overgassed with the H that came in it. I had zero problems with the SOCOM Mini on it today and basically zero gas blowback. |
