Charging Handle Upgrade > Colt

i have been reading a lot of great reviews on the BCM Gunfighter? I'm thinking about outfitting my 6920 with one. Do you guys think they are worth it or should i just stay with the GI one? I'm thinking medium size....any thoughts?

And yes,I know this is the Colt forum, but you guys don't handout BS and i wont get any "Upgrade? I thought colt was the best..." replies.

the medium gunifghter is awesome. it is worth it. I have 2 of them. a very worthwhile upgrade. I cant say enough good things about it

Fenn, you'll like it (I suggest the medium as well). If you end up not liking it I'll gladly buy it from you for whatever you paid for it

I've been slowly transitioning all of my defensive carbines over to the medium Gunfighter charging handle. Never thought I'd like something more than my beloved PRI Big Latch-but the Gunfighter blows it away.

aight me thinks the 6920 will get one then.

I see that Rainier Arms has them on Fleabay for $49 shipped,which is just a tad cheaper than ordering from the BCM website. I suppose that's about as cheap as it gets?

Yes get the Mod 4 Medium. I bought the Mod 5 Small and a Mod 4. I settled on the Mod 4 for all my rifles. The Mod 4 is much better for manipulation of the charging handle. Mod 5 still works but mod 4 is just a little larger. The Mod 3 was to big and can catch and poke you when your not paying attention IMO.

the shop had sold out of the Medium sized when I arrived this morning, so being an impatient person I messed around and bought the large one. it's not as large as i thought it would be. i think it will do nicely.
