nah I will be slow to get the 901 I am sure most FFL morons will jack the price up 150 percent on them just like the 6940. so I will wait at least 4-6 months after they hit before I buy one. I will not pay an extra 2K for a gun just to get one of the 1st out like some asshats in GD do. guys paid 2000 for the 6940 when it first came out. I waited almost a year and got mine for 1200 |

Same buffer for the 5.56 and 7.62. A bolt catch/release that you can operate with your index finger. The same exact manual of arms and ergonomics between the 7.62 and the 5.56. The ability to slap on a DI 7.62 upper for accuracy and a GP 5.56 lower for reliability. I really dig it.
I've been looking for something that will give me consistent training with a modern rifle whether it's in 5.56 or 7.62. Other than recoil being different this rifle should be pretty much the same whether I'm shooting cheap .223 or doing 7.62. That's kind of important to me. Will it work with any milspec upper? For instance could I put an ADCOR BEAR upper on it since the ADCOR will fit milspec lowers? |

I think it would be a very attractive weapon for the military since any mil-spec M4/M16 upper can fit the 901 lower so there is no addition of special barrels or parts and in fact a subtraction of parts required for the units. Easier to just have the complete uppers and swap them out. Yeah, it's more weight of stuff to carry, but the weight shipping costs are outweighted by the ease of field use. I think the new anodization of the camo patterns is really genius as well. Everyone in SOCOM likes to paint their damn rifles and that's not ideal. Now they'll have a durable patterns already in the anodization. |

Magazine well 46 has interface 84 that removably interlocks with mating interface 86 of upper receiver 34. Interface 86 40 may be similar to or the same as interfaces 70 or 68 or may be different. Interfaces 84, 86 may have a tabbed rim lips that slide relative to each other to lock and unlock allowing the user to lock/assemble and unlock/disassemble the two assemblies without tools and without other disassembly. 45 Interface 84 has features that mate with features on interface 86 that allow magazine well 46 and upper receiver 34 to be mated and then slid into a locked position for coupling. I had no dog in any fight but the condescending tone evident in the majority of your posts is not a benefit to anyone but your own ego. I was checking this thread regularly for info but I'm not partial to enjoying posts which contain enthusiasm to one's self instead of the rifle. Simply put, your chest beating has made this thread problematic to the point many people will no longer respect it for it's content.
