I have a Match Target HBAR that I want to put a flat top receiver on.

This is the receiver: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Upper-Receiver-Assembly-Flat-Top-p/flat%20top%20upper1.htm

My questions are:
1. Will this receiver work with the HBAR?
2. If so, are there any other parts I may need, or will it mount up normally?
3. If not, please advise.

This is my first attempt at building, but with the resources on this site, I think it should be no problem.
Thanks

I can't get your link to work. But assuming you have a small pivot pin hole (.250), all you need to do is get the upper. It can be purchased as stripped if you want to remove your old forward assist and ejection port cover. If not add about $20.00 and buy the complete assembly without the M4 receiver extension cuts. You'll need a receiver wrench, receiver blocks, a torque wrench and a roll pin punch to remove the gas tube roll pin and sturdy bench vise-the rest you can improvise.  Try to find a friend with the tools or it'll cost you over $100.00 for the tools. If you're going to do it only once, it's cheaper to pay someone than buy the tooling yourself.

Why not get a Colt upper and keep it all in the family?

Thanks guys, I thought so, but wanted to check here first.

Predator, I looked at Colt uppers and they are more than twice the price of the Bravo. The Bravo units seem to have a good reputation and if I ever sold it, I would return it to original.

FYI, Once you take the barrel off, it will no longer be original. At least not from a resale standpoint.

That's cool, my friends wouldn't care and I usually sell to them if I sell.
Thanks for the heads up on that, I never would have thought of it that way.

I did the same thing a month ago. Everything worked fine. I too wanted a Colt Flattop but  twice the price doesn't mean twice as good.

sometimes twise the price does mean twice as good.....

I would just pick up a used  colt upper on the E&E they are usually all over the place
