ADCO has them in stock for anyone who likes 'em.
Since Colt switched to small pins, I figure these won't be around forever, so I got one. |
| I got one, but haven't decided whether to install it or not. The stock trigger in my 6921 is OK, but only OK. My 6920 is a little bettwer. I'm skeptical of a two-stage trigger on a "goto gun," but Geissele's have an impeccable reputation. I figure worst case, I can sell it later. |

You and I feel exactly the same about two-stage triggers Strongbow-I've been skeptical as well. In the past I've been disappointed with with RRA, LMT, and KAC two-stage triggers. That said, I think Geissele may have broken the stereotype. I bought two of their (small pin) triggers during the shortage last year and I've been unable to break them...despite my best efforts My defensive and training Colts and LMTs still run cleaned up stock FCGs, but I'm really liking my Geissele triggers. I'm currently running one in a Bushmaster Patrolman's carbine and another in a Rock River build. The Bushmaster in particular is run hard and treated like a redheaded stepchild. I'm not very thorough when maintaining it either. So far I'm extremely impressed |

How do I know if my Match HBAR has the large pin or small pin trigger? I know my rifle is Pre-ban? large FCG pin is what you have how do you know? he give you a serial number through IM? sgausch when did you buy it? the new models this year hae small pins |

Well, Shawn, as helpful and observant as you usually are, you sure did miss the part where he said PRE-BAN.
Now, as I know you are an excellent member and solid contributor to this board, I would safely assume that you were certainly not attacking me. I am no jnypd. ETA: it is quite possible that I do not know many things. But, I thought that all semi-auto Colts made before the ban (actually until 1Q09) were large FCG pins. |
